10 APPL’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

At APPL our focus is to address the following SDG goals 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13 & 17

Goal 1.

APPL is committed to alleviating or ending poverty in all forms everywhere and wherever we have our footprints. We shall provide cheap or cost-effective fuels that will be affordable by millions of Nigerians and West Africans. We shall create wealth and jobs for host countries in the form of royalties, rent, taxes and new jobs direct jobs for over 300 Nigerians and provide foods for about 1200 dependents. Increased availability of financial resources shall provide accessible health, basic and community services needed to achieve better health and eradicate poverty.

Goal 3.

APPL believes that we have a responsibility to protect the planet and promote human health. Our technologies and products shall check the challenges associated with fossilized energy sources.  APPL desulfurization, de-carbonization, and enhancement of petroleum products to the allowable limit would eliminate GHG by 60% and enhanced quantity by 35% to 50%. APPL cleaner or reformed fuels would be processed, supplied, and used in ways that have minimal environmental impacts on local, national, and global ecosystems and ensures their sustainability. The implementation of APPL clean fuels shall generate substantial health

Goal 5.

APPL is gender-sensitive as there shall be gender-balanced participation in decision-making regarding APPL revenues. APPL projects aim at welfare, productivity and empowerment of women, men, boys, girls and persons with disabilities. The way AAPL projects are planned, organized and managed will give women and men opportunities for employment and empowerment. We shall provide skills’ acquisition programmes and centers for rural women including persons with disabilities.  We shall provide scholarships to our young women and men, boys and girls both at secondary and tertiary education levels. APPL shall make provision of other inputs such as start-up capital, training and appropriate infrastructure (electrification, roads, transportation) to foster and support small female and male entrepreneurship in Nigeria and West Africa. APPL shall provide services for affected communities (schools, health centers and pre-school/ childcare) to allow women and men, who are mainly responsible for caretaking, to focus more on productive activities. APPL shall engage in local community development through community funds and social investments.

Goal 6.

APPL’s shall produce “wealthy waste” that shall not cause water and environmental pollution. Rather, our Chemical Waste, in the form of Sulfones shall be used for production of disinfectants, dermal infection ointment, and shall be reprocessed to produce hospital and laboratory grade Hydrogen peroxides. Tritium waste shall be consumed within the plant.

Goal 7.

At APPL shall protect the environment by providing reformed and affordable fuels that will reduce greenhouse gases (GHGs) emission from fossilized energy sources and retard potential environmental degradation and land-use conflicts in Nigeria.

Goal 8.

APPL shall promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all. We shall provide jobs, scholarships, skills acquisition centers, etc, to young men, women and persons with disabilities. When persons with disabilities have access to training in skills which are relevant to the labour market, and suited to their abilities and interests, they can make a significant contribution in the workplace and to the living standards of their households, the community and wider society.

Goal 9.

APPL shall Build Resilient Infrastructure, Promote Inclusive And Sustainable Industrialization and Foster Innovation. Our innovative Emulsified Fuel Technology (EFT) and SulfexTM Technology will help us address big global challenges such as creating jobs and providing cost-effective and eco-friendly sources of energy. We will promote relevant sustainable industries, and invest in scientific research and innovation which are all important ways to facilitate sustainable development

Goal 11.

APPL shall Mitigate Climate and Poverty through the production of hybrid (emulsified) fuels that are more environmentally friendly and cost-effective and Create jobs for about 300 Nigerians. Our approach and goals will make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. Community Development Initiatives will be done with the involvement of various stakeholders within the host communities. We shall provide basic amenities, skill acquisition programmes, educational and health supports to our host communities

Goal 13.

APPL’s major goal is to Take Urgent Action To Combat Climate Change and Its Impacts. Our project feasibility study has shown that our scalable Emulsified Fuel Technology (EFT) will achieve 57.84% reduction in GHGs emission from the consumption of much higher volume and the readily available emulsified diesel in seven (7) years would create a ‘more fuel-less emission’ goal in APPL’s activities with a carbon credit status of 5,477,472 (tCO2e) using only two of our reformation units.

Goal 17.

APPL is holding exclusive rights for 10 years with a America Company  and technical partners respectively whose partners (For more information on the agreement visit the link below.  https//www.worldstagegroup.com/alternative-petroleum-technologies-signs-distribution-agreement-for-15-african-countries) has developed its patented Fuel Reformation Unit (FRU) technology to produce Reformed Fuel (R-Fuel). We hope to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development through our offtake agreements with potential end-users such as Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC), a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) within Africa; AngloGold Ashanti Gold mine, Ghana; Gold Mines, Mali; BUA Cement Nigeria Limited; Lagos State Government Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and others.
